The Start of Inktober 2019

Day 1, 2, and 3 of Inktober 2019! I’m following October Creative’s Inspiration prompts this year. It’s a cool fall related prompt list that comes with blockbuster pages and perspective changers. Here’s the shop link if you’re interested in it.

Day 1 Gooey Caramel Apple

I know it’s a candy apple, I’m thinking of calling it skull candy, but it’s the first thing I thought of on this promt and I love how it came out! That’s also one of the reasons I picked these promts, because they’re designed to be open ended so creative’s can be just that. It’s for all creative’s not just artists so it makes you think differently. Back to the art, I used Dr. Ph. Martin Bombay colored India ink, a speedball dip pen, an aqua brush from Arteza, Faber Castell Pitt pens, and my Signo white gel pen. I really ran with the gooey part.

Day 2 Bubbling Drink

My love for purple came out in this one. I was really trying to make it look effervescent with dry ice indused smoke. I used colored Bombay inda ink, Black Star Matte, an aqua brush from Arteza , a speedball dip pen, Faber Castell Pitt pens, and a white Signo.

Day 3 A Chilly Morning

I was a bit stumped on this one, but it turned out cozy looking. I am definitely looking forward to hot cocoa this year with my ghost-mellows. I used Black Star matte ink, a speedball dip pen, Faber Castell Pitt pens, an aqua brush from Arteza, Bombay india inks for the colors, and a white Signo. I’m not good at hands but these are probably the best ones I’ve done.

Are you guys doing Inktober? What promts are you following? Let me know, I’ll be posting twice a week this month since I’m doing a drawing a day. Let me know how you guys are doing and even if you’re not doing inktober make sure you create something today!
